Go For It – Spencer Scott

Spencer Scott is a 23-year old New Jersey native who moved to LA to become a filmmaker after growing tired of her hometown. She has been writing, acting, directing and producing since she was just eight years old. In college, she studied filmmaking while focusing on creative writing, as well as taking acting classes at the Stella Adler Conservatory. Aside from the production company she founded in high school with some other nerds named Vox Media Group (www.voxmediagroup.com), Spencer has produced several short films and was assistant editor to renowned documentary filmmaker David Gelb for Jiro Dreams of Sushi (2011). In addition to writing, directing and producing her own projects, she is also the Head Writer at AJATT – An Ultimate Japanese Adventure Through Translation: an awesome podcast focusing on living like a native in Japan through Japanese learning. She is currently working on several new film projects, including a feature script set during a pandemic (how convenient!), and a short about her own life in LA.
